Shinsoman Talks About His Nickname

From cardboard makeshift shin pads to the legendary name: How 'Dancehall Father' earned his "Shinsoman" nickname.

Tinashe Romeo Anthony "Dancehall Father's resourcefulness and determination in crafting his own shin pads from a makeshift cardboard box got him a nicknamed "Shin pads.

His story revolves around his profound passion for the beautiful game "soccer". In professional soccer it is mandatory to wear shin pads while playing football. However, Shinsoman found himself without shin pads but wanted to play and he resorted to fashioning makeshift shin pads from a humble cardboard box.

One of his friends discovered his resourceful creation and promptly bestowed upon him the moniker "Shin pad" as a playful acknowledgement of his unique solution. Over time, the name naturally evolved and was eventually shortened to the more succinct and endearing "Shinso" which later revolved again and became Shinsoman.
