"I called the project The Cappuccino Date, this was the best representation of a full on procedure of the experiences of a guy who found a girl who he was attracted to, finally got to take her for a date and kicked off everything from there. It was at that Cappuccino Date that everything started! I didn't sequence the tracks as in that order, but if you reorganise them starting with so sweet, then what I Need and ending with nostalgik, you'll see the whole picture" "So the guy in artwork is Me going for that Cappuccino Date, with flowers (my music) as a gift"
"I had Ab3l X give me the beat for Nostalgik a while ago and I'd actually written that last year but I hadn't recored yet. I then made the remaining two beats, sampling Dorris & Kelly (So sweet) and Sha sha (What I Need). I took a somewhat different unique approach, sampling amapiano into hip hop/rap, after obsessively listening to her song, What You Need. I knew I was obviously going to get back lashed for sampling her, but It was the best experience making such a fusion. I then engineered the whole project and sent it out."
