Jungle Loco
Jungle Loco is a multi award winning artist who hails from the dusty streets of Masvingo. Jungle Loco, born July 25 1992, started his journey as a poet when he was doing his advanced level studies in Lesotho. He was doing written poetry pieces for St James High’s weekly school magazine and thats how he grew into being a song-writter. In 2009 he formed a hip hop group alongside his brother, titled Stay Fly Clan and started executive producing songs for other artists. In the year 2013, Jungle Loco released his first track and started making waves across Masvingo. In 2014, Jungle Loco burst onto the hip hop scene after releasing his first album titled Houz Of Hunga. This project consisted of 8 tracks, mainly produced by Jungle Loco & other Masvingo-based producers in Pepzee & Ceeklear. This album was regarded iconic and got positive reception within Zim Hip Hop and solidified Jungle Loco’s spot as one of the top artists in the country. After the success of Houz Of Hunga, Jungle Loco released two more albums Stone City & Bata MaStreets. Jungle Loco has received several accolades for his artistry scooping Best Lyricist, Best Collaboration ,Best Hip Hop Artist (MAA Awards) and notably Best Hip Hop Album for Bata Ma Streets (ZHH Awards) (Changamire Awards). Over the course of his music career , he has worked with a host of talented artists namely mUnetsi, Noble Stylz, Tocky Vibes, GZE, Phreshy, Kriss Newtone, Shian, Jonn The Producer and many other exceptional artists.
